For history aficionados the value of history is in lessons learned, beauty and vice revealed. So many times in inspired verse we ponder and sometimes conjecture to try to understand it all. Many sources often provide clues to events that, while we thought (or were taught) we knew our history well, truth paints a different, but clearer and more meaningful insights into our own time in history. This is to explore that history, apply lessons learned to our day, and use it to explain or further understand scripture.
